The hardware properties of the dVision XG manufactured by Digital Projection include 4500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 6000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
