Based on DLP technology, the Digital Projection Lightning 38 1080p 3D device delivers 30000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 500 hours for this projector's lamp. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1760 cm can be illuminated with 30000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 1173 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
