The Lightning 45HD 3D is a 3D-DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose specifications list 30000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 750 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 30000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 1005 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
