The INSIGHT 4K Dual Laser model is a 3D-DLP projector from Digital Projection, intended for Event applications, offering 27000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 27000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 779 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
