The Digital Projection HIGHlite Laser 4K-UHD is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 12500 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 12500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1136 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 757 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
