The Digital Projection Lightning 30sx+ is a DLP projector that brings 16000 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400×1050 resolution alongside a contrast of 1800:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 750 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1102 cm can be illuminated with 16000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 735 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
