According to Digital Projection, the E-VISION LASER 9000 WU model provides 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 20000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 909 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 606 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
