Based on DLP technology, the Digital Projection HIGHlite 14000HD device delivers 14000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 14000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1030 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 687 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
