With the iVision 50 1080p XC (Preliminary), Digital Projection offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 1900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Digital Projection, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1900 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 443 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 295 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
