The Digital Projection E-Vision 9100 WU is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 7700 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 20000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 892 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 595 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
