The Lightning 40HD T model from Digital Projection combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 21000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a native HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 750 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 21000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1262 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 841 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
