The X2000L-4K Laser UST model is a projector from Viewsonic, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 44 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
