The projector PJ1000 by Viewsonic operates as a LCD device with 600 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 200:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 213 cm can be illuminated with 600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 142 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Viewsonic. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
