As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Viewsonic LX700-4K RGB is equipped with 5200 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 3000000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 489 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2024 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
