The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 122 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 464 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 309 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
