As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Viewsonic Pro8400 is equipped with 4000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 4000:1. According to Viewsonic, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
