This projector from Viewsonic utilizes Laser-DLP technology, achieving 8500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 625 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2024 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range.
