Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic M2W device delivers 1700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 3000000:1 as a projector. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 419 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
