Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic PG603W device delivers 3600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 22000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 407 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
