Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic PJD7831HDL device delivers 3200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 22000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range.
