With the PJ556D, Viewsonic offers a DLP projector that features 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Viewsonic, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
