With the LS830, manufacturer Viewsonic offers a DLP laser projector with HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer Viewsonic specifies a service life of 15000 hours, which converts to over 10.3 years at 4 hours per day. With a projection ratio of just 0.25:1, this projector never gets in the way. For a 2m wide image, the projector only needs to be 50 cm away from the screen. A smartphone with MHL connection can be connected directly to the MHL/HDMI port for 1080p / 60 Hz image mirroring (screen mirroring). Even 1080P video signals are no problem for the projector. On the market since 2016, the model is no longer offered by the manufacturer Viewsonic.
