Known as the LS920WU, this 3D-LED-DLP projector by Viewsonic features basic specs of 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 787 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 525 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables.
