The PS700W is a 3D-DLP projector by Viewsonic, whose specifications list 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 46 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
