According to Nec, the XL3500 model provides 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 250:1 alongside a SVGA 848 x 600 resolution. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Nec's current lineup. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
