The HL16000HD is a DLP projector by Nec, whose specifications list 14000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1100 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 14000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1030 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 687 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
