Based on LCD technology, the Nec NP-ME423W device delivers 4400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 16000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 8000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 11 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 4400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 674 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 449 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
