The projector NP2250 by Nec utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 564 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 376 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
