The ME383W is a LCD projector by Nec, whose specifications list 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 10000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 13.7 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
