A projector from Nec is the VT45, whose Laser-LCD model delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 300:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2200 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 275 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 183 cm. This model dates back to 2001 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
