Based on DLP technology, the Nec NP53 device delivers 2600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1600:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
