The Nec PX2201UL is a Laser-DLP projector offering 20500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1247 cm can be illuminated with 20500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 831 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
