With the NP PE501X, Nec offers a LCD projector that features 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3500 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projector Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
