According to Nec, the PE455UL model provides 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 450000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 455 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 27 decibels. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
