This projector is named PA721X, originates from Nec, and its data sheet shows 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 739 cm can be illuminated with 7200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 493 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
