As a projector, the Nec NP P451W combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 4500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 4000:1. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 3500 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
