The Nec V281W is a 3D-Laser-BrilliantColor-DLP projector offering 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
