With the EMP TW500, Epson offers a LCD projector that features 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 27 decibels. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
