Designed for the Whiteboard sector, the EB-680Wi model from Epson features 3200 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 14000:1. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 383 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
