As a projector, the Epson EB-710Ui combines LCD technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
