The EB-G7100 model is a LCD projector from Epson, intended for Stationary applications, offering 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
