The EMP 81 model from Epson combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
