The Epson EMP TW2000 is a LCD projector offering 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 406 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 271 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

The EMP TW 2000 is the first projector to use the D7 Deep Black Panels developed by Epson. Compared to the TW 1000, they are much sharper and richer in contrast, which is incredibly noticeable in the black level. Of course, in combination with the somewhat annoying automatic shutter, this high-end device produces a beautiful picture with the correct color setting in dynamic mode. An absolute bullet of its time with many setup options that make it very flexible. Discreetly masculine appearance, quiet and an eye-catcher in any home theater.
