Based on LCD technology, the Epson EH TW8100 device delivers 2400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 320000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 498 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 332 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
