The projector EB 1870 by Epson operates as a LCD device with 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
