As a projector, the Epson EH LS500B Android TV combines LCD technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 54 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
