The EH TW5300 model from Epson combines LCD technology in the Homecinema sector with 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 35000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
