The projector XD300U by Mitsubishi operates as a DLP device with 2100 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Mitsubishi, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 399 cm can be illuminated with 2100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 266 cm. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
