Based on DLP technology, the Mitsubishi SD110 device delivers 1700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. According to Mitsubishi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.

I have several projectors from low budget to high end. Strangely enough, this is my favorite. Small, handy and yet powerful. The most extreme thing I‘ve done with it was to completely illuminate a real cinema screen measuring 9x5 meters. The length of the auditorium was 35 meters. It only became pixelated 5 meters in front of the screen.
Since people keep asking how to operate the device on the computer - press the Windows key and P at the same time. Then a menu should appear to switch over.
Oh yes, the device has now been running for 11 years with me - and has only needed one lamp change. Despite regular use.

How does this projector run under Windows 7
Hello, who can help me, I would like to run the always reliable projector under Windows 7. Unfortunately, my new laptop can‘t find the good thing. What am I doing wrong, because as far as I know, the new Windows software recognizes all connected devices.

... I am happy to confirm this: This thing is great!
This thing is currently very cheap; I can only recommend: run and buy:
I had beamers up to SFr. 3000.-- at home in direct comparison.... (as a TV replacement and occasionally a DVD in a moderately darkened room). I was quite surprised myself, but I kept the 110.
If you don‘t need or have HDMI, HD-TV, FHD-TV, BlueRay & stuff (... the source makes the picture!) you shouldn‘t be fooled and buy a projector that can do things that are not yet available to the average person (just digital TV, & so ...) - just trust your own eyes, test & compare!!!
Tips: switch off automatic white enhancement (Henni is right), turn up the color a little and enjoy a great picture for little money.

Good all-rounder at a great price!
Have had the device for six months and around 150 operating hours now and am very satisfied. I use it to project onto an Ikea roller blind (Tupplur) and achieve a sufficiently bright image diagonal of around 2.5 m (in economy mode). For movies I use it with the native resolution of 800x600, for games with 1024x768, whereby the interpolation is not disturbing there.
When displaying texts (e.g. when surfing), the interpolation is noticeable due to blurred, uneven writing....When watching movies, you should switch off the automatic white amplification, as otherwise bright areas will be unnaturally bright.
Important for all console owners: The projector is able to process component signals (Y, Pr, Pb) via its VGA input. This makes gaming on the WII twice as much fun :)
The whole thing then at a device price from 529€*, lamp price from 199€* (with a lamp life of 2000-4000h)...I don‘t think you can get into the world of giant screen diagonals much cheaper at the moment.

Top beamer at a small price
really a top beamer at a great price! I used it to throw game recordings and videos onto a white wall at a lan and everyone was thrilled! I also often play with friends on it (pc fifa wc,05 resolution 1024*768/ gamcube or ps2) everything is wonderful with a top picture even without darkening the room too much! at a distance of 3.5m i have a picture diagonal of about 2.5 meters on my screen without zoom1 simply great and the picture is of course top despite the low resolution of 800*600 the beamer also cuts a good figure at 1024*768 on the pc!

Suitable for home theater
I bought the projector purely for watching DVDs. So I can‘t say how well it works with a PC. Because of its low resolution SVGA with 800x600 pixels, it is certainly not sufficient for PC operation. The colors are rich. The black level is fine. The projector has no problems with fast images. In the background, the picture sometimes appears slightly blurred. On the whole, however, the quality is superb. With a projector distance of 2.5 m from the screen, I get an image of 177x90 cm (film mode with 16:9), with 4:3 it‘s a whopping 177x132 cm. Another pro: the lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. At 270 euros for a replacement lamp, the costs are kept within reasonable limits.
Small minus: detailed operating instructions are only included on CD Rom. Those who like to have something in their hands while reading will have to reach for the printer.
Conclusion: I can recommend the projector for home cinema fans with a clear conscience. I have now had three home cinema evenings with the projector. Like me, my guests were thrilled!
