The projector SL1U by Mitsubishi utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Mitsubishi, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
